Looking for something unique to do with your family this weekend? Consider a day of fun at Boise State's annual STEM Exploration event this Saturday, February 1, from 9a-4p. Science, technology, engineering and math are the foundation of many activities designed to captivate youth grades K-12. Don't miss a presentation by astronaut, Barbara Morgan! Families will also enjoy designing a bridge, experiencing a wind tunnel and even riding a segway! For a full list of activities, visit the event website: http://coen.boisestate.edu/STEMExploration. For those with children under 6yrs, check out BLOCKFEST in the Kinesiology building. Ages 8mo-6yr are introduced to science and math rotating through five different block stations. Don't worry, parents get to join in on the block play fun too!
