The North End, Boise, ID: Top 24 Places to Live and Work 2014

Boise has made many lists as a top place to live over the years.  Most recently, Sunset, published an article listing The North End as a top place to live and work for 2014 siting its kid friendly environment and close proximity to downtown and recreation.  Article below:

This news is no surprise to locals.  Living in the North End isn't just a home, it is a lifestyle!  The area is desired for its history, culture, and green living.  With the foothills at your back door, it is the perfect playground for the outdoor enthusiast.  Hiking trails, biking and 16 miles to skiing are just a little of what this area has to offer.

As if The North End doesn't sound great enough already, in the heart of the community is the ever popular Hyde Park.  Hyde Park is best experienced by bike or foot.  The quaint streets are lined with eateries and several antique and specialty shops.  Walking through this part of town feels like a refuge from the outside world.  The Hyde Park Street Fair, typically held in September, is the must hit event of the area.
