Have you ever gotten lost in a corn maze? I have....

Okay, just for an hour.  But to be fair, the lady at the entrance said that it should only take us 20 minutes - 30 if we got lost.  Yet, we were able to spend an extra 30 minutes and in the end we cheated to get out.  We had to text for clues and then we did "cheat paths" (which in retrospect probably got us lost in the first place) until we finally ended up not at the exit, but at the pumpkin patch on the other side of the maze.

Oh well, it was a lot of fun.  If you are local to Boise, Idaho and you have never gone to one of our corn mazes you are missing out.  This was the first time I went - to The Farmstead Corn Maze & Pumpkin Festival.  I would recommend it to anyone.  It's fun for adults & teenagers (the corn maze is actually challenging, see above :-) and they have all kinds of different toddler and younger children events too.  Check out all the things to do under "attractions" at The Farmstead official website.  They even have "fair food!"

There is less than a week left, as it closes on Halloween so get there soon or put it in your back pocket for a fun even for next year.

We also have another corn maze that I have not been too, but which is "The Official Corn Maze of the Boise State Broncos."  Check it out.  Check them both out.  I highly recommend it.

I have too, but they are fun.  We have one in Woodland Hills, Ca.  You can take a long stick with you and hold it and if you need help, just hold up the flag/stick and they find you.

Kasey, I have never been in a corn maze but it looks like fun. Thanks for sharing the list of fun activities in Idaho.

I just heard a story on the news about someone who got lost in a corn maze and called 911.

Ralph, that is an interesting way to get help - the flag.  Ours has a phone number you can call ifyour are lost.

It was a lot of fun Carlotta.  A good way to spend a nice fall afternoon :-)

Melissa, I heard a news story too about a young couple with a baby who got lost in the dark and when they were found they were only 25ft from the exit.  I was out there with my 10 month old & my friends and their 3 month old baby and I can see how you would panic when it gets dark, especially with an infant.

I have gotten lost, many times, but never in a corn maze.  I've gotten lost in the produce section in the grocery store. Does that count? lol

Eric, if you get lost in a produce section you will have some major problems in a corn maze. LOL.  I think it counts though, sure :-)  Have a great weekend!
