What's hot you ask? Well, the weather for one. It's been a scorching 100+ degrees her in Boise this week. That is too hot for me. I'm happy in a good mid-70's all summer long.

But, besides the weather, Ada County Association of Realtors has a blog called ACAR Watercooler, and a new blog post came out today about summer activity. Now, I realize that Realtors can be all peaches and cream, and sugar and lollipops. But, so far 2012 has been a pretty darn good year in our market. I'm not saying that we are out of the woods. I'm very cautious. But, take a look at what our MLS numbers and our local board is saying is going on here in Ada County this year.

Kasey: I'm so glad that your local market has become such a "hot" market. Weather-wise... not much you can do but wait it out. But then again... at least for me, too hot is better than two feet of snow. At least you don't have to shovel the heat.
I don't get the weather and heat thing. They all wait for the heat in the winter time, so when it finally comes they want winter again.
Hi Kasey, we just went through about 10 days of over 100 degree weather. "Just" 90 felt really good today, almost cool. ;-)
You see, Karen Anne, I am much more a 2 feet of snow type. There are only so many clothes I can take off in the scorching heat :-P
Winston, I rarely wait for the heat of the summer....I'm a cool weather kind of gal.
Man, John, for some reason I pictured Albuquerque to be much hotter than Boise...
Andrea, I still think I'd probably hate the 90 degrees...viva the 70 degrees!
I am a big fan of peaches and cream, sugar, lollipops and GREAT MARKET REPORTS! Good for you!! ☺
It is about time that the market started warming up....and that only happens when buyers have confidence. YAY!
Kasey, glad to hear you real estate market is doing well! It HAS been a very hot summer. We hot 105 two days in a row in June, and we don't get that hot until August!
Joni, Ron & Joan, thanks for your comments, sorry I missed them! This summer has passed me by....
