A few days ago I wrote a post about the Christmas Cards that John and I do every year and what we are specifically doing this year. Read that post here -
That is one of the many things we do business-wise to end the year on a positive note and to kick off the new year. Sending out the cards is one of my favorite things to do. As time has gone on, as I’ve had kids (my first daughter was born on December 12th three years ago and I still managed to send out about 350 Christmas cards), as life has gotten busier both with business and with family I’ve occasionally thought that maybe sending out the cards is too much – too time consuming (I still stuff, stamp and address all the envelopes myself), too costly (400+ cards plus 49 cent stamps can get pretty spendy) – but in the end I just like doing it. It’s nice to keep in touch with people in this way, even if I can’t throughout the rest of the year. I love sending out the cards and I love receiving them. And, as I mentioned, it both ends and begins the year(s) positively.
Merry Christmas from Jon Gosche Real Estate
As always, the end of the year is the perfect time to assess the previous year and to plan for the New Year. As my Christmas Card mentioned, I have taken over as the managing broker for my company. I will still gladly and gratefully help my clients, friends and referrals. Goals for the new year for me are a bit different than previously, however. My goal is to make the agents in my company as successful as possible. I want them to have their best year ever. And in turn I also want to have my best year ever – both business and personally.
Cheers and Happy Holidays! Best wishes for the New Year.
