Looking good Kasey & John Boles . Ours is coming along well too BUT North Dakota is in a sever drought so the farmers and ranchers are not doing so well.

I've got monumental garden envy Kasey & John Boles!  I used to have "dirt under my nails" for years, but alas my growing space is a fraction of what it used to be.  Thanks for sharing.

Bummer on the drought Bob "RealMan" Timm - due to our high snow fall winter we have more water than we can handle to the tune of flooding, worries about how high the rivers are and how to slowly manage the reservoirs being filled.  I think we are past the worse of it, but my home town of Hailey, Idaho evacuated an entire subdivision of homes due to river overflow....wish we could share some of our water with you. -Kasey

Marie Haydock it takes a lot of time, but we enjoy it and it gets us out of the house and away from our computers. :-) Kasey

Looks great Kasey! We've had lots of rain so far this summer and our garden has gone gang-busters too. Have a great 4th!!

OH and I forgot to mention, your garden would be more than I could handle alone...HOLY MOLY, that's some garden you have!!

Good morning Kasey. What progress. You are clearly proud  and should be.

Wow Kasey, that's one impressive garden. It looks beautiful and I'm sure you're enjoying all the fresh fruits and veggies!

Thanks for your garden update. Chef Dolores would love to have a garden like yours.

Kasey, you have quite the garden!    That would be cool to have this much space to grow veggies.  GREAT JOB.

It looks like your garden is really taking off, Kasey & John Boles . I used to love helping my mom till, plant, weed and water. I've just never gotten into it at home beyond the occasional tomato plant.

What a difference six weeks makes! Here's hoping you have a huge bounty. Nothing beats fresh from the garden.

I wouldn't have this much garden if John didn't do a whole bunch of the work Debe Maxwell, CRS and we are making the kids help - family 15 minutes of weeding every night after dinner.  John spends hours out there after the kids go to bed though.  My neighbor and I also can and make jelly.  We are trying for a homestead sort of deal here.  My neighbor has the chickens and provides us eggs, we provide produce and canned/frozen foods for the winter. It's a lot of work but we enjoy it and it gets us away from our home office computers and phones and outside! -Kasey

Thank you Sheila Anderson - now the tomatoes just need to get going.  They are our favorite! -Kasey

Thanks Amanda S. Davidson. It is very satisfying.  Sometimes we look at our dinner plate and nearly all if not everything is provided from our hard work and not the grocery store. That's fun. -Kasey

It's a big space to keep up Joan Cox. We've been here 2 1/2 years now and are finally getting it all managed :-) Kasey

Nathan Gesner it would not be the garden it is if John didn't do a bunch of the work on it.  He spends a lot of time in our yard taking care of things.  -Kasey

Pat Starnes, lettuce, kale, spinach, green beans and a few peppers & jalapenos are being picked and we just got our first zucchini yesterday, but we have a few weeks for everything else to really start getting going.  We are enjoying what we have so far though. -Kasy

I'd be all up in the kale and spinach! Lettuces, too. :) Healthy eating.

Oh boy.  Looks like you will have a banner crop this year.  Amazing how quickly everything grew.

Wow, looks like you have an abundant garden, do you grow most of your own food?

Hi Kasey & John Boles - there is nothing like eating fruits and veggies that you started from sctratch. With every bite you can tates the love that it was created with.  It is also very hard work that does not go unnoticed on my end!

It makes great salads Pat Starnes.  My neighbors makes kale chips & kale smoothies.  I've been using the leaves to eat with hummus.  Good stuff! -Kasey

I wouldn't necessarily say "most" Brian England, but John hunts and fishes and so there are definitely meals in the summer that are most if not all of our sweat and hard work on the plate and we do try to can for the winter.  We still have a decent grocery bill though ;-) Kasey

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® we almost can't eat store bought tomatoes anymore. Homegrown are so amazing!  Same with strawberries, cucumbers and a few others. No chemicals, waxy skin, so much riper and juicier...-Kasey
